1. Go to https://www.visa.go.kr/. The default language is in Korean. You can change it by clicking your desired language in the upper right of the website. 











2. Hover to Check Application Status. Then click Check Application Status & Print.



3. Fill up with your info. Click search.


4. Application status will display.

Step 1: Requirements (for employed)

  1. Duly-accomplished application form. Fill the form completely in block letters. No erasures. No blank fields, just write "N/A". This can be handwritten or computerized. Print the form in an A4 sized bond paper. Visa application form download link.
  2. 1 passport sized colored picture. Attach this on your application form. The photo must be taken not more than 6 months. 
  3. Passport. Must be valid for more than 6 months with a least 2 blank pages.
  4. 1 photocopy of passport bio-page (page 2)
  5. * Original and photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD countries for the past 5 years. 
  6. Original Certificate of Employment (COE) (must include applicant's position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address)
  7. Original Personal Bank Certificate (must include account type, current balance, account opening date, ADB). Your account balance must be greater than the estimated travel expense written in your visa application form.
  8. Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)
  9. ITR(Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy)
  10. * Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card

Step 2: Submission

Go to your nearest Consular office.

Applications can only be submitted from Mondays-Fridays (except Philippines and South Korea holidays) from 8:30 - 11 am only and cutoff time is 10:30 am.
Visa processing time in Cebu takes 7 working days.

Visa Application through Designated Travel Agency starting July 1, 2018 
Walk-in applicants for temporary visitor's visa will be no longer accepted at the Korean embassy, McKinley Hill starting July 1, 208. Instead, the visa applications will be processed through designated travel agencies. More details

For Cebuanos and other applicants who would like to submit their visa application in Korean Consulate in Cebu, they still continue to accept personal visa applications. No need to go to an accredited agency. More details

Releasing time is only from 1:30 to  4:00 pm.
